This 2006 release depicts the orchestral sounding bass alone, in duos, in quintet, and for those who want to overdose on deep bass acoustics, in a quartet of four double basses.

Special thanks to the NSO musicians who collaborated on the CD, which is also an ALS support project (Oppelt's father, violist and violin/viola pedagogue Robert L. Oppelt, passed away from ALS in 2001). Thanks also to James Wilson, who chose to honor his mother by supporting this project (Joan G.
